Light Snowfall Upkeep

For smaller snowfalls below the automatic 5 cm trigger:

• Driveway shovelling or light cleanup: from $50

• Driveway and entrance upkeep: from $65

• Walkway and step touch-ups: quoted by size

• Salt and ice-control visits: from $40, plus salt

Light-snow service must be requested unless included in a customized winter plan.

What Standard Service Includes

Every qualifying clearing includes:

• Snow blowing or shovelling of selected areas

• Cleanup around entrances and edges

• City-plow ridge clearing with driveway service

• Reasonable removal of snow left by normal drifting

• A final check of the booked service areas

Snow is placed in a suitable location on the customer’s property.

Important Winter Pricing Information

All prices shown are starting prices and are based on a standard residential property.

Final pricing may vary due to:

• Driveway size and length

• Number of entrances

• Walkway and stair length

• Heavy drifting

• Packed or frozen snow

• Snowfall depth

• Limited snow-storage areas

• Vehicles or obstacles left in service areas

• Additional salt required

• Travel outside Thunder Bay

Large driveways, corner properties, commercial properties and unusually difficult access are quoted separately.

During major storms, clearing times may be affected by snowfall duration, road conditions and city-plow activity. Apparently winter refuses to respect appointment calendars.

Customer Responsibilities

To help ensure safe and efficient service:

• Keep vehicles out of the booked clearing area when possible

• Remove hoses, cords, decorations and other hidden obstacles

• Mark delicate landscaping or low objects

• Keep pets indoors during service

• Notify Bergie’s of locked gates or access concerns

• Report significant ice buildup before the scheduled visit

Damage caused by concealed or unmarked objects may not be covered.
